EDN-1-On 5^th June, in village Shabbirpur, dist. Saharanpur, Environment day was observed and tree plantation was carried out by representative of village Pradhan, Former Pradhan, Radheshyam-Social worker and other dignitaries and encouraged the community to promote more & more tree plantation through conducting sensitization meeting on environment. 

EDN-3-In Laddewala area of district Muzaffarnagar, three saplings were planted on 6^th June 2019 by the ward member Mr. Haji Irfan with the facilitation of Samvaad project staff and aware people to plant trees for maintaining the ecological balance.

EDN-4 In Malhupura area, block sadar of Muzaffarnagar, to motivate and aware the community on saving the environment, two saplings were planted on 6^th June 2019 by the ward member Mr. Shafiq by the facilitation of Samvaad staff.

Under "Saksham-II" project:

EDN-5 Under Saksham project, environment day was observed in village Kakkepur on 6^th June 2019 and the people were aware on global warming, pollution, deforestation, ecological balance and conveyed message to contribute in saving the nature by planting trees and non-polluting the environment by condemning polythene bags.

EDN-6- Environment day was observed in village Baparsi on 7^th June 2019 and the participants were enlightened on protection of environment by planting trees, non-polluting water resources, and use of conventional energy such as solar energy. The participants were mobilized and took oath to contribute in saving the nature by plantation of trees.

Under "Sakhi-II" project:

EDN-7 & 8-Sensitization meetings were organized in village Afzalpur Pawti, Panchli & Shekhpuri of Jani block, dist. Meerut on 6^th, 11^th & 13^th June 2019 respectively. More than 100 people were made aware on the climatic changes occurring due to global warming, pollution, extinction of natural habitat, and exploitation of natural resources. The gathering have understood the seriousness of the scenario and promised to take measures in conserving the environment.

Under "Uphold the dignity of Rural Women and Adolescent Girls in 24 villages of Meerut and Baghpat districts" project:

EDN-9,10,11 – Under the project “Uphold the Dignity of Rural Women and Adolescent Girls”, Environment Day was organized in six villages namely Panwadi, Daluheda, Bahadarpur, Gurana, Darkawda & Ekwara of Meerut & Baghpat districts. During the program, participants were imparted education on the important aspects of environment and its protection by tree plantation. They are mobilized to end the use of polythene, resist cutting of trees, non-polluting environment by using organic manure, plantation of trees to maintain the ecological balance of nature.
