Its my privilege to be the president of Meerut Seva Samaj (MSS) and it gives me immense joy to be the part of this organization working for the development and welfare of the poor and downtrodden of our diocese. Since its inception, MSS is proactively delivering various interventions in the field of rural development outreaching to the least and suppressed to bring social reforms in their lives and testify true meaning of humanity in this materialistic era. It is involved in different aspects of development like social, economical, mental and spiritual especially for the marginalized rural women and adolescent girls of our working area. It is definitely a factor in eliminating the social exclusion prevailing in the society by creating awareness on rights & entitlements, promotion of literacy, gender discrimination & equality, health &hygiene, capacity building programs, skill trainings and income generating activities etc., which have brought social and economic transformation in the living standards of the rural populace. MSS has created mechanism for the women and adolescent girls to come under one platform through Self HelpGroups and Adolescent Groups and confront the social barriers of the society collectively.I highly appreciate the efforts of the organization for playing the role to bring the excluded community in the mainstream of life and showing its PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS commitment of social work.
